Outback QLD & NT

Well, 4,000klms later we have arrived in Darwin. We have been on the road now for 3 weeks and have seen quite alot of things. Scott has been getting me out on the mountain bike quite regularly and so far my longest ride has been 36 klms. We rode from our campsite at Gungurul to Maguk ( Barramundi Gorge ) in Kakadu. The road was heavily corrugated and I even had to carry my bike over some rocks. The things that is most amazing about Kakadu is you drive along these dusty roads that seem to go nowhere and then all of a sudden you end up at the most spectacular waterfalls and gorges. You do have to be cautious about which ones you swim in of course due to the big crocodiles they have in this part of the world. I haven't seen any yet in the wild but that doesnt mean there not here. Actung Baby!!
Here are more photos of outback.

BACK IN OZ !!!
Well, I totally freaked my mother out. My little sister Kelly and I picked her up from work. Lucky she has a strong heart or otherwise I would have given her a heart attack.
Just to update you all on the romance situation. Scott is in Sydney and will be flying to Townsville in 9 days.
I have fortunately made it in time for the Swire Golf Day ... yippie...so as per usual I will be the drinks girl. Looking forward to having some fun.
I have caught up briefly with some friends and ate out a lot. I will definitely try and stay away Asian food for a while..hahaha.
So my next plan of attack is to drive around Australia.
Scott & I have estimated that it will take us over 70 days and we would travel atleast 17,500 klms. We will be camping most of the way so therefore we have decided to drive anti-clockwise to avoid the cold of the south & the get through the north before the rain season hits.
